"From start to finish of our project the Glampitect team have been at the end of the phone offering advice and help through every step. I do feel without their help we wouldn’t have got our planning in the first place. Highly recommend getting in touch with them if you are thinking of going down the glamping route."
Tom Hadley, Owner of Paradise Valley Hideaways
Nestled away in Paradise Valley, Paradise Valley Hideaways have opened their doors to welcome you to a luxury glamping experience embracing the Worcestershire countryside!
The tranquil oasis invites you to disconnect and rejuvenate, offering all the amenities for an unforgettable staycation experience.
Featuring two Glampitect Glamping Pods, Robins Nest is situated above the pond and Woodpeckers Perch is on the edge of the woodland. Both pods feature a private hot tub overlooking the fields and a decking area, allowing you to enjoy the morning sunshine while taking in Paradise Valley's beautiful countryside.
Starting with a feasibility study, the Glampitect research and reporting team explored the critical aspects of establishing a glamping site allowing Tom to make an informed decision on setting up a glamping site.
To conclude the 27-page in-depth report, the positive feedback consisted of:
Shared Access Lane Requires Care
Good Approval Rate in Area
Broadly Favourable Policy
After receiving a promising report, Tom confidently made the decision to proceed with a planning application.
The Glampitect team collaborated closely with Tom and his family to fully understand their vision for the glamping site and how they could best achieve their aspirations. They began by completing a feasibility study to identify any potential planning challenges and pave the way for an effortless site design and planning process.
Xanthe, Senior Designer at Glampitect, led the design stage of the project and produced a range of technical drawings required to submit the planning application, including: Location Plan, Layout Plan, Drainage Plan, Road and Access Plan, Lighting Plan and Pod Elevations as well as a Design & Access Statement to make up a detailed planning application.
Xanthe also produced 3D artist impressions of the future site to bring Tom's vision to life. Thanks to modern technology, there was no need for a site visit and the entire design process and documents were delivered remotely.
At the initial validation stage after submitting the planning application, the local authority requested a Preliminary Ecological Assessment and Heritage Statement to be provided. Glampitect then revised their drawings to include recommendations from the ecologist to improve biodiversity on site. Once validated, the planning process was very smooth, with the application approved without any further revisions or additional information requested.
